Merry Christmas!

Well Merry Christmas everyone! In our home every year it‘s a joy to celebrate Christmas and the meaning of it. If anyone hasn’t heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and you’d like me to share it with you, please let me know!

The past two weeks we’ve been in total isolation so that we could share Christmas with family including my 5 year old niece who was diagnosed with leukemia last year, the day after Christmas. It’s the first time our families have been able to celebrate and gather together in a full year. And as hard of a year it’s been, we can still attest to blessing after blessing and life for which we are ever grateful.

Maya’s belly continues to swell, and she whines frequently out of the blue which leads me to believe 1). Those puppies are getting some strength behind their kicks and movements and 2). Her body is likely preparing for childbirth which can be uncomfortable at times.

Though we expect puppies in the first half of next week, we’re entering the safe zone where if they do come early, they will still likely do well.

So now we hunker down and wait. The puppies are very active & when I put my hand on Maya’s belly I feel the puppies shift positions often. I’m sure it’s getting pretty crowded in there!

Here’s her belly:

She’s increasingly restless at night and she’s still breaking me in for our all nighter!

Hopefully our next update will be about a birth!

But today, we’ll return to celebrating the birth of Christ, and look forward to meeting these little creatures He has given us.

Blessings everyone!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
